London photography courses is a Studio Time company, set up by professional photographers Tony Thornton and Martin Gomez. Tony has been a commercial photographer for the past 30 years. Self taught Tony learned in the days of film how to get the shot right in the camera. He has been around the world on assignments from the South of France to Venezuela via Bradford shooting advertising to architecture. That’s the lot of a commercial photographer, you get to travel literally everywhere!
Martin started out as a photographer in the mid nineties studying at Bournemouth College of Arts. However, he learnt a great deal from assisting high end fashion, advertising and product photographers. Studio practice and digital technology are Martin’s area of expertise.
London Photography Courses emerged from the sheer volume of new photographers wanting to hire the studio, many of whom had no idea how to use studio lighting or what all the knobs and dials did on their camera! So we set about supporting these people through courses designed in a very user friendly fashion, and which are info packed days. We do not overwhelm you with technical theories or numbers, studio photography courses use a hands on practical ‘learn by doing’ style.
